The Department of Residence Life at Michigan State University has offered a high degree of experience, development, and autonomy as an up-and-coming Student Affairs Professional. I'm Kathy, and I work in University Apartments. The vibrancy and diversity of our community is my favorite thing about working in the apartments. We are home to students and families from all over the world. Before moving to the apartments area, I was in Owen Graduate Center, another culturally rich environment. Meeting and getting to know others from different countries, backgrounds, etc. has been an amazing and illuminating experience. In learning about others, I have learned more about myself-- an added benefit to an already extraordinary opportunity.
