Olivet College - B.A. - Journalism/Communication 2001 I love working at MSU for a few reasons. I enjoy working with the student population here and the flexibility I am afforded with my job. As a mother, it is important for me to work at an institution and in a department that values family, and I found that here. The staff here is great and very supportive as well. I left MSU for a year and a half and was eager to return to a place where I felt that both my hard work and commitment was valued! |

*Bachelor's in Lyman Briggs Biological Sciences from MSU Received my undergraduate degree from MSU in LBS Biological Sciences and then graduated with my Masters Degree in May 2007 in Student Affairs Administration. MSU and the Department of Residence Life have a welcoming and supportive working environment. I enjoy the challenges that I am presented with in this position and the ability to collaborate with others due to the size of MSU and the Department. |

*Bachelor's in Hospitality Management from Western Illinois University I have loved my time here at MSU! The personal connections I have made with both students and staff are the reason why I came and what keeps me here. Although I am considered "administrative staff", I have considerable positive interactions with students on a regular basis. Yes, I am at the computer a lot, but I get enough face time to give the balance to my position that I enjoy. MSU and our Department are large indeed, but it feels small enough to wrap my arms around. |

*Bachelor's in Mathematics from Luther College *Master's in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University *Education Specialist in Educational Leadership from Saginaw Valley State University I love working at MSU! The students are wonderful. there is always something to do. nice co-workers, and there is a great balance of teamwork and autonomy. The Shaw Hall Senate has a great budget to do some really amazing programs for the residents and MSU's RHA does even more in terms of bring excellent movies and performers to our campus. Additionally, I feel fully supported from my supervisor and the department in terms of my performance and professional development. |
